Eve is a cheery, outgoing, and air-headed lil' lady who's life goal is to see everything there is to see in the big wide world. Both easily excited and easily bored, she seeks out amusement mayhaps a smidge recklessly. She's not unintelligent, per se, but most of her brain capacity is devoted to a few select interests, and she's consequently lacking in other mental areas.
BACKSTORY
Picked up by a small, scruffy group of adventurers as a baby, Eve spent her early childhood all over Gridania and Thanalan. Her little family found their money in odd jobs and hunts here and there, until duty began calling them to do much more dangerous tasks. Finding their work too hazardous for the tiny miqo'te, they deposited her at one member's family home in Thanalan.They visited her between every job, and told her increasingly extraordinary tales of their adventures, dazzling her with stories of far away lands and epic battles. It inspired a wanderlust in her, and she wanted nothing more than to join them in their journeys.To prepare herself for her life of adventure, she began studying at the Thaumaturge's guild in Ul'dah in her early teens. She was an excellent student in thaumaturgy... and thaumaturgy alone. Completely bored by the more mundane topics like arithmetic and logic, she would frequently sneak out during studies to explore Ul'dah and its surroundings, becoming well acquainted with the area. Between the visits from her adventurers and her frequent escapades, her desire for the new and exciting only grew.That is, until the Calamity. Her adventurers were called to the front lines to defend against the Calamity, where they, and many like them, tragically lost their lives. Having lost the only family she had ever known, Eve fell into disarray. The consequences of mortality shook her, and she resolved to experience as much as she could, see everything she could. She wanted to do what she could no longer do with her family.And so, she left her foster home and the guild, and began living her life in a very Carpe Diem sort of way. She explored the world with reckless abandon, diving every dungeon and exploring every crypt, even finding a Black Mage's Soul Stone on one such foray. Thankfully, on her adventures, she's acquired a number of close friends, who help keep an eye on her and keep her out of trouble.Presently, she goes wherever the wind takes her, and tends not to stay settled in one place for very long. She can sometimes be found visiting old tutors in Ul'dah, or doing odd jobs to cover her irresponsible spending habits, or studying whatever new and fascinating thing she may have run into.
